Message "Rock hard" is an utterly false description of them. AL is "rock hard". Polyurethane is way, WAY more towards the rubber end of the "hardness spectrum" than a cylindrical chunk of metal.

A lot of really poor feedback going around about these bushings from folks who either went against the recommended installation (installed rear lower control arm bushings, despite advice against it), or are attributing unrelated maladies to the mod.

Bottom line, they are noticeably firmer. The difference will be more pronounced if your OEM bushings are completely shot, as in damaged/torn and leaking goo and your Z has a suspension with the sloppiness of an '82 Cadillac. But if you are simply swapping the bushings alone and leaving everything else the way it is, there shouldn't be this huge regret factor.

Think of it like trim on an airplane. The trim isnt used for flight control, the flaps are. The trim complements the flaps and refines the control inputs.
